The mustard green manure had been sown about 8 weeks ago and had started to produce flowers. We have enough weeds to contend with already, and I did not want to add mustard to that list, so we cut it down today.
I quickly dug up a spit to see how easy it would be to dig the green manure crop in, and it was a doddle! So tomorrow I will just get Chestnut out and dig the manure crop in.
