Planted the new currant bushes

The last of the soft fruit that we have planted this year are the currants. We have Blackcurrant 'Big Ben', Whitecurrant 'Versailles' and Redcurrant 'Jonkheer van Tet'. They have all been planted in holes 50cm (18") square and deep, filled with a mixture of top soil and a peat based compost. This should provide good conditions to get the best growth from them. They will all grow up to 2m (6'6") tall and a mature bush gives vast amounts of fruit.
